Knowledge Transfer in Aid is at the heart of this report, which explores the challenges and successes in adapting the Panzi Model—originally developed in the Democratic Republic of Congo to address conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV)—to the Ukrainian context following the Russian invasion. The report examines the complexities of transferring a holistic care model across vastly different cultural, social, and political landscapes, highlighting the importance of cultural awareness, strategic partner selection, and continuous evaluation. It emphasizes the need for adapting the model to local realities, ensuring that survivors receive effective support in a conflict-affected region while navigating logistical challenges and power dynamics. The findings provide valuable insights for future cross-cultural knowledge exchanges in humanitarian aid.
