LM International is proud to announce its membership in the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN), a global network comprising over 900 members dedicated to addressing climate change challenges through technology and knowledge-sharing.

The CTCN serves as the implementation arm of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Technology Mechanism, hosted by the UNEP. Its mission is to promote the accelerated transfer of climate technologies to developing countries to support climate resilience and low-carbon development.

As a CTCN Network Member, LM International gains access to a range of opportunities, including:

  • Technical assistance: The ability to participate in bids for implementing climate technology projects in developing countries. This involves the provision of technology solutions aimed at mitigating and adapting to climate change. LM International can actively engage with CTCN’s Technical Assistance process, applying for available opportunities and sharing expertise.

  • Outreach events: Opportunities to connect with various stakeholders through regional forums, Regional Climate Weeks, and National Designated Entities (NDE) events. These interactions foster collaboration and knowledge exchange across the climate technology community.

  • Knowledge sharing and capacity building: LM International is invited to contribute its expertise to the CTCN’s web platform, sharing innovative climate technology and policy solutions with a broader audience. Knowledge-sharing efforts will strengthen the organization’s position as a thought leader in the climate technology arena.

By joining the CTCN, LM International is poised to enhance its contributions to climate action by leveraging CTCN’s technical assistance, outreach opportunities, and knowledge-sharing platforms. This membership aligns with LM International’s commitment to promoting sustainable, resilient, and low-carbon development globally.
